COVER REVEAL: KING OF SORROWS

This novel is a slight departure from my paranormal genre but some stories must to be told.

KingofSorrows.v2-Final.v2

It’s painfully sobering when we learn we’ve been nothing but a pawn in someone else’s grand scheme.”

All is right in Loren Smith’s world. She has a perfect job and the perfect circle of friends and family. One thing so far has evaded her love.

When a chance encounter places her past with her present, Loren finds herself faced with unimaginable circumstances.

A tale of two souls that time could not separate.

Review:Breaking Fate By G.L Hunter

Breaking fate

Breaking Fate pulls you into a world of darkness and light in which Blaez, a souless being and Darcy, a mortal woman who feels like half of a whole find each other .

The novel grabbed me from the first page. I remember immediately falling for Blaez because I knew somewhere under that tough armour there was a being just waiting to find the key to unleash his potential  to love and feel. Enter Darci, bold and fearless and no stranger to loss or darkness.

This novel is a great mixture of action, suspense and drama you wont put it down until the end. And even then, you’ll be begging for more.

Ms. Hunter, I’m looking forward to the rest of the series.

Review : Echo, Mine

EchoMine2

Between my revisions for Infernal Shriver, I started reading Echo, Mine a novella by Georgia Lyn Hunter and I was pleasantly surprised because I usually prefer to read full length novels. In this little gem, I discovered Echo and Aethan a magnetic and magical couple whose love defies death, demons and the occasional intrusive friend (lol). What i like most about this novella was the couple’s chemistry. Echo and Aethan’s love story is so beautiful full of a anticipation, angst, and mutual desire. Aethan is the epitome of an alpha male and Echo is feisty and  independent. Together they make a killer duo. I also enjoyed the passion in Ms. Hunter’s writing. I could tell she took care to mold and develop her characters with little details and traits here and there.

Echo mine is an interlude in Echo and Aethan’s relationship and Absolute Surrender is the full lenght novel which I have since latched on and so far I must say it only gets better.

INFERNAL ICE : NEW COVER REVEAL

INFERNAL ICE EBOOK (1)

Jennifer Munswami of J M Rising Horse Creations and I collaborated to recreate a cover that would not only capture the romance but also the paranormal elements of Infernal Ice.

In the following scene, we find Raum Corvus and Jessa Belle Jones, the main characters of Infernal Ice, at a turning point in their relationship. Enjoy!

*

Jessa walked ahead of Raum signaling him to follow in her steps. They stopped at the foot of the Banyan tree. She ran her fingers along the small cracks and rough formations on its surface. She leaned her back against the massive trunk.  Raum faced her, his hands tucked into his jean pockets contemplating the tree. She sighed. A few feet from her stood the promise of a new day. A new love.

“Jessa?” Raum said lifting her chin.  Their eyes met. She read gentle concern in his. He stepped forward and leaned into Jessa, wedging her between his body and the tree trunk. He trailed his fingers down her arm before intertwining them with hers.

What’s on your mind?” he whispered against her lips

Jessa inhaled. “A lot of things,” she answered looking away.

He cupped Jessa’s face. “Such as”?

Jessa took a deep breath and looked straight into his eyes “I’m debating whether I should exercise caution as I’ve always have and stay on the shoreline where it’s safe or let myself go into the rip current?”

He frowned. “Rip current? I don’t understand. What are you referring to?”

“You…I’m referring to you Raum… You’re the rip current.”

Raum had been called many things  in his life amongst them Lord of Crows but never had anyone called him a rip current.  He understood what Jessa met though. His eyes searched hers. In them, he saw love but also fear.  The fear he would disappoint her. She feared he, too, would break her heart.  Reaching for her hand, he placed it on his chest where his heart galloped with joy.

“Then I’m asking you to throw caution to the wind and let the current carry you. Don’t be afraid as you slip from the shore. Don’t panic or swim against the tide. Float to me Jessa. I will never let you drown. Let my love be the lifeboat that keeps you safe from the elements and the undertow.  Let me be your life support.”

Buy it on Amazon, BN, I-Tunes, Kobo.
